Customer backed over a chain link fence that was laying on the ground and broke the left rear steel brake line, we replaced with a factory line, pressure bled ALL the brakes, plus ran the SRMF & SRMR active test to bleed the rears, the scanner had another type of air bleeding procedure, did that as well. Pump still runs even while sitting in the truck with the key on engine off or running, the scanner data doesn't show any data out of specs, cannot find a spec for the Accumulator, press 3.7 volts drops to 3 while pushing on the pedal and builds back to 3.7 volts in a few seconds. Master cylinder volts .46 not pressing on the brake pedal up to 3.05 volts while pressing on the brake pedal
Push on the pedal multiple times with the key off to completely bleed the system down and start it to see if that fixes the issue. You operated the solenoid when you bled it so I don't think you have a leaking solenoid. Did the truck get towed after the fence or did they drive it in? The pump may have been damaged, after the line broke, from excess running and is now unable to develop full
I did the pedal method 5 times according to Alldata procedures, same results, the truck was towed in after the accident.
Hi Fred: There are two things, that I've seen, which come to mind. One is that there is a piece of debris holding a solenoid from seating. Granted, it is more common when someone pushes the caliper piston back without opening the bleeder. But it is a YO with YO type solenoids. The second, and probable, is that a relay contact has welded in a closed position. That should be straight-forward to
