Updates to come discussed in the open live steams broadcasted over the past few months , by Snapon
Snapon has had a few live streams in past months , questions asked about improvements to its scope software . Also what steps Snapon is taking to gain access to the secured gateway system being added to todays vehicles . As we know Chrysler and some others are starting to produce . In those live streams it was stated improvements to come on scope software , hardware we know has its limitations . They also stated that , they are working with manufactures to provide access to its users . Was stated we would see Chrysler added in Octobers update , 19.4 hope they also have these scope improvements up and going . Large investment for some of us in tooling from Snapon , and we are expecting Zeus to be a tool to be able to grow with modern technology .

Did they happen to mention which scan tools will be able to be used with the Chryslers on this new update? I have a feeling that since the Modis does not connect to the internet like the Verus and Zeus that the Modis will not work with the newer Chryslers. Thanks
I'm also curious about this question , hope snapon soon to provide some input . Far as I know access is coming , but to the tools without internet capabilities . Don't have an answer on that subject . When I get one I'll post here and to my Zeus Scan tool facebook group .
Doug Yes Snap on is going to add Chrysler sgm support in the next Zeus update. The option will only work if you have an account to tech authority. Chrysler kind of has this locked down.
Year account option only ? Or just an active account , this is going to get interesting . Would of thought a need for witech script , instead . But thanks for input .
Thanks Edwin for the info. So have you heard that the new Chrysler function will be on the Zeus? Or will the update cover the Modis and Verus Thanks
From what I have heard it will be on the Modis as well.
Thankyou for the heads up and following links to the Snap On videos. Unfortunately after spending 40mins watching a video on the Triton D8, my review, not directed towards forum members but the video itself: To quote the great Billy Madison circa 1995: At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this…
