Some time ago I had heard that there is a way to use a inspection camera with a AV input/ output jack used with a special cable that was made up to verify if the screen on dash can display what the inspection camera sees then also used to see if the actual car camera can produce a image that will be displayed on the inspection device screen…
Has anyone seen this or used it? If so can someone clarify how to make this ” special cable “??

Hey that’s pretty neat! I’m guessing probably by getting a Av cable and splicing some sort of connection onto it.

Yes purchased this kit from the folks at AVI Videos yes it works but have not had a bunch of time to play with. Figured it would help with those difficult to calibrate adas cameras can’t hurt seeing what the actual camera sees

I built my own unit, it has a camera and 1.5" lcd and a cable with different adapters to tap into system.

Shane it looks great…Maybe someone would know if there is a way to use a phone to do this…..???? Would be very handy….? Some tech guru maybe able to help out here….?
