God morning Tony. What happened first? Was it belt replacement or a part replacement? Which brand belt are you using?

G'day Chris, car was towed in July 2016 with a broken belt. We found the idler & tensioner pulleys were damaged and the crankshaft oil seal leaking

Replaced pulleys, seal & belt with genuine Audi parts

cheers

Tony

while the vehicle is running, look straight down at the crank pulley, there needs to be ZERO wobble. is there any?

Chris, sorry for late response. No wobble from crank pulley, was replaced last time with genuine part. All pulleys line up, not found problem yet. trying a smaller belt to see if tension improves. will keep you posted.
