Are there any codes in the ABS?

You need to check for codes in the occupant classification system. If there are none you need to re-zero/calibrate the system.

Many times I have had to replace the OCS module, and sometimes the seat rail sensors if the system will not calibrate. I always start by replacing the module and leave it open ended that the sensors may need replacing as well. As far as aftermarket tooling goes I have had better luck with Snap On than Autel when it comes to zeroing the OCS on these.

There are recalls on most Nissans of that era for that or similar issues. Its almost always the seat weight sensors. Also when you call the dealer about a recall it will apply to literally every vehicle possible except the one you have

Gateway in module is locked. Professional repair is to replace and program the replacement module.
