Toyota North America has recently discovered that Techstream Version 15.00.028 (the latest software) may exhibit an issue when trying to access certain utilities. It seems that this issue occurs primarily when a user is communicating to the vehicle with an Ethernet capable VIM and is affecting both dealer and aftermarket users.

This issue is only found with Techstream Version 15.00.028 and does not exist in any previous version of Techstream. If users have updated to 15.00.028 and experience this issue, please revert to the older version of Techstream, Version 14.30.022. Both versions can be found on the Techinfo Site (link below). 

Toyota is actively working on the issue. In the meantime, all users are welcome to call the Toyota support desk at any time if you have any questions or concerns:
