Tech Connect With J2534
For the longest gm was using sps to program with j2534 know looks like the only way to do so is with tech connect software. Installed the software watch the tutorial. Problem is looks as though it dosent support my pass through device (bosh mrvcs plus) was wondering if anyone else has remedy this
Do you mean you can’t connect to the. While with your device or just that it it’s greeted out as a non authorized device? If the latter just push it through it should work. I’ve used numerous non supported devices without a glitch
it will not connect. i get a message GDS2 is not communicating with device. ive used this same pass through for years on sps.
I've got that message a few times instead of the list devices to pick. Backed out and rebooted everything and then the list came up, using Cardaq Plus 3. The laptop gets used all the time and goes days on end without a reboot, maybe just needs rebooted more often.
Dusted off the old snapon pass through pro 2 pushed it through would like like to get this to work with the bosh though if anyone has any info
Run Tech Connect using Internet Explorer and run as administrator. Should recognize device and install J2534 files.
I ran into an issue with my cardaqm when it came to using it with a 2021 yukon, car had can fd in it though
You will find the Bosch MTECH2 listed as MTS 6531 on the OEM sites, This is the part number a lot of the OEM'S use. Same unit as the GM MDI2 and Ford VCM3
Make sure device firmware and drivers are up-to-date: boschdiagnostics.com/software-updat…
