I use Maks. I've had one fail and the warranty was pretty straightforward and the service is good.

Anthony, We have only had occasion to order one TIPM recently. We sourced it from Mak's TIPM Rebuilders (Chatsworth, CA). tipmrebuilders.com Per Victoria (who works in our office), when she called Mak's, the customer service rep was nice, answered questions, and was knowledgeable. She also stated that the ordering process was easy and the core return instructions are…

MAK I've used this company for my person Jeep, bought it April of this year and had nothing but problems with it. The customer service is a joke. I did nothing but play phone tag with them, when I did get in touch with some one that want to either soon me some device the configure the tipm or send them both the original and the tipm I bought for them to clone. I put my original back in my Jeep…

I used these guys… Just did one that we “overnighted” from Friday. It all worked out and a friend of mine that only works on diesel vehicles recommended them to me. He has used them for a couple of years without issue. goecm.com/collections/ti…

Anthony, The TIPM reset tool works with Drewtech based J2534 devices. It allows you to use a salvage part with the same number. Maybe an option rather than risking a remanufactured part. If you would like more information on the application, you can contact me. ….

Dylan, This tool is made by ECUunlock along with APNT2 and AEMT MAXX. All of these are targeted to common Chrysler issues. APNT2 resets both pre and post CAN SKIM, AEMT MAXX has APNT2 functions, PCM Flashing, EEPROM cloning and TIPM renew. The TIPM renew tool removes both original and current VIN and resets the vehicle order. Then you leave the ign key on for 2 minutes, cycle key and the VIN…

So if I'm reading this correctly you use your J2534 with wiTECH 2.0 to reset the TIPM? Is it a reset or a reflash?

Dan, We are able to use a J2534 with an aftermarket application called the TIPM reset tool to do this. Witech is designed for only new part replacement. -Mike

I have seen a few TIPMS done by MAKs (tipmrebuilders) cross my bench. They do good work. I recommend them all the time if people are looking for replacements.
