Anthony, We have only had occasion to order one TIPM recently. We sourced it from Mak's TIPM Rebuilders (Chatsworth, CA). tipmrebuilders.com Per Victoria (who works in our office), when she called Mak's, the customer service rep was nice, answered questions, and was knowledgeable. MAK I've used this company for my person Jeep, bought it April of this year and had nothing but problems with it. The customer service is a joke. I did nothing but play phone tag with them, when I did get in touch with some one that want to either soon me some device the configure the tipm or send them both the original and the tipm I bought for them to clone. I put my original back in my Jeep…

The TIPM renew tool removes both original and current VIN and resets the vehicle order. Then you leave the ign key on for 2 minutes, cycle key and the VIN…
So if I'm reading this correctly you use your J2534 with wiTECH 2.0 to reset the TIPM? Is it a reset or a reflash?
Dan, We are able to use a J2534 with an aftermarket application called the TIPM reset tool to do this. Witech is designed for only new part replacement. -Mike
