GM SPS difficulties
I am kind of new to vehicule programming, but a good background in diagnosis. I have an Autel Maxiflash and trying to make the GM SPS system working.
I bought a subscription for 1 VIN on the Acdelco website. After that, I click on Add Vin, and the website redirects doesn’t redirects me to tis2web but to another website that needs a 3000$ yearly subscription to access. What am I doing wrong?

You need to download TLC application, after downloading the application, do the installation, SPS is now in the TLC application . I am loading a computer right now for one of my techs.
Juts download and install new app. Don’t need to buy the yearly subscription only per vin but now you use that app instead of SPS.
They are sunsetting the old tis2web system for the new tech line connect. I think on or about the 29th of this month. I also just set up a computer to program a GM vehicle. Contact Autel there is a new adapter for the 2019 and newer vehicles in order to read ca buss issues GM/Darwin 12 is the connector name
My Autel J2534 device only connects when I open Techline Connect through IE. Did not work through chrome. (First time running the new sw I ran IE w admin rights). Only use Chrome to purchase subscription or credits.
I am also having issues adding vin to the slot Or is because I am using j2534 device
I went through this the other day as well, when you get to the techline connect redirection, I had to run it as the “standalone” option, presumably because I am not running the full techline connect and only wanted the programming.
Ok thank you. I have been able to connect to the car, but the task that I want to do is to install a used ECM in it and program keys. Is that function available in SPS to change the ECU vin?
Used ecm may not work if this is a global a vehicle .You will need a lsid for keys or a key programmer.Last flash i did monday i had to use chrome to flash with.
In the older version of SPS, I could connect with SPS, select replace and program. Then, the system asks me to turn key off, replace the ECM and turn the key on and update the ECM. SPS2 doesn't seem to let me do that. I also saw that some were using GDS2, input manually the vin and when connecting, GDS2 is telling that there is a VIN mismatch and at that point, I could rewrite the car's vin in…
The older GM were not an issue. Newer GM Global A architecture is different. Do Not Swap Control Modules on Global Architecture Models – TechLink (gm-techlink.com)
Hi Bonjour Olivier, I think the 2010 Equinox is part of Global A architecture and you cannot swap ECM modules. You might need I/O Terminal tool with the Opel/GM activation if the old pcm is communicating. If not available I would call Flagship One to get a virginize unit or a new one from GM. My Bosch M-VCI is still working with Tech Line Connect; no need to purchase the subscription to TLC; all other features are unavailable in it except SPS; any other vins you had access to will still be available
Has anyone got any error codes from tlc. I tried programming an 06 h3 and keep getting a cyber security error message and error code 5 on step 0. Will not accept the flash.
