P0705 — Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit (PRNDL Input),
O/D
Blinking

Customer complained O/D lamp blinking on dashboard, vehicle shifting normal while running, just lamp blinking.

Customer replaced PCM, harness, Transmission Range Sensor.

Dtc:

PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) :

P0705 Transmission Range Circuit Out of Range

P1702 TR(Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Intermittent fault).

I need to know if there's a source of problem related to O/D OFF blinking other than PCM, harness between PCM and Transmission Range Sensor and Transmission Range Sensor.

I've checked the wires (two) of overdrive cancel switch that coming from fuse 12V and return to pcm pin 29, when push on 12 V, when push off 0V.

Thank you dear sir When pushing cancel switch on, 12 V back to pin 29 to PCM, when off no volt, but not fixed on instrument panel but blanking, PCM has been replaced from good known vehicle, the same problem.

When put cancel switch at ON position it's light on instrument panel,when push again the cancel switch indicator off at instrument panel, that means the cancel switch functions normally.

I've replaced ECM and Engine harness, no more complain.
