Hello Pete, I got this image from a friend of mine. Happened recently. Pieces went through bay door, through a customer's windshield and lodged in the seat. They were working, lucky nobody hurt but they woke up for sure. Black iron pipe there now. Bob

Thanks! When I first started in the business, I watched an experienced mechanic as he changed the tires on a Camaro with Cragar mags. It was an old Coates machine, and he hit the pedal to blast air in to seat the bead and then pumped it up to get that last little bit to "pop". When it did, though, the entire rim/bead area broke off of the wheel, shooting aluminum fragments straight up through
