2006 MB E350 - CMP & CKP Correlation Waveform
Does anyone have a CMP & CKP Correlation waveform for this vehicle?
Vehicle have a fresh motor oil & filter from dealership. I'm trying to compare it to a known good before I go too deep into this diagnostic.

Hello, That engine has a balance shaft issue. The MB codes are 1200 and 1208. The engine balance shaft gear wears and causes the right cam to be out of time. There is a lot of information on the internet for the balance shaft problem.
As others have said that engine has internal problems. As I recall the test was to swap the cam solenoids and clear the codes. If it came back before you get to the door the shaft is suspect. No need to compare waveforms….. Just check mechanical timing. P0016 and P0017 are the equivalent to 1200 and 1208 OEM codes. If timing is off on right side then most likely the balance shaft gear is worn. Verify with a camera. While you are there, do an intake manifold as the outside linkage is broken, do not try to fix it. Replace complete intake manifold. Pretty straight forward job. Just…
