BMW audio head unit coding

Audio Head Unit Coding

Hi,

i have bmw e70 2007 europe version,no have audio sound.

customer says that the head Unit was stolen ,and he instal another one that he order it but it come from e70 usa version.

does the version difference leads to prevent audio sound to work?!

how to edit configuration?!

possible to do coding for the head unit usa version?!

plz advice!

I had a similar situation and used autel programming on BMW to identify the new audio unit and code automatically it took about 15 minutes

Hi stephen, i try to code it by autel maxisys pro ,coding finished succesfully but still no sound! i have also autologic drivepro but car is very far to try coding by it.

Use the option to retrofit it will also update the rpo code

Is this a new or used head unit? Are you able to communicate to the AMP, TCU, etc? That will give you your answer. A new headunit should allow you to communicate to the rest of the MOST bus after coding is done. Also verify all parts of the CCC were coded... 1. ASK 2. GW 3. BO 4. CCC-A 5. ANT

Hi Nelson, this is used head unit was installed. Yes i am able to communicate with all the rest of the most bus.

I Have seen that if the part numbers are not part of the cars super-session, it will prevent options from working even if its coded. Check your part number with what your car decode's for reference compatible part numbers.
