P0705 — Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit (PRNDL Input),

Good evening everyone. I have this 2014 Toyota Camry that Came from another shop due to engine code P0705. the previous shop replaced the range sensor with no luck and after that they brought it to me. I started of with scan data, while shifting the vehicle all the data was corresponding. So I went a bit more intrusive and hooked up my pico scope and I have a picture where it shows the transition and I see no drop outa. ( blue is P, red is R, green is N & yellow is D) the only thing that I was confused about is the 2 wires connector 4 and 9 going to the certification ecu. but I’m not sure if that is like throw a code as if I’m not mistaken that’s just to verify the vehicle to allow a cranking event

Hello Azael, Does the trans module need to be programmed or synched to recognize the new range sensor?

It’s the shifter getting caught with Park and Neutral or in gear with another gear. Watch your PIDs. Happens all the time and they may have spilled something in there at one point.
