I am trying to figure out if I can use a Cam_Ckp capture from a 2013 EcoBoost to check this 2015 EcoBoost. The Bank1 Cam sensors are located in the valve cover for this 2015 version.

The captures below are from the two vehicles.

While cranking the “CMP_CKP Synchronized" PID is yes but there is no spark.

Unplug the cam sensors one bank at a time and see if it starts. That might give you some direction if its timing related

Neither of those look like the 2013 or the 2016 3.5L EcoBoost captures I have. By the way, when setting up your wave forms it is much easier to compare the individual views if you have the wave form colors, screen location and size all the same.

It turns out that the mechanic mixed up the cams, so the timing is 180 degrees out.
