When reviewing this jeep patriot, which has acceleration and starting problems, on the dashboard it has an intermittent throat "lightning" light, learning has been done with an Autel and nothing, lines from the pedal to the computer have good continuity, low resistance, the doubt is the value that falls to zero in a pedal signal, will it be the pedal or the pcm?

Carlos, View the star case number S… this will answer your question about drop outs. Read the description of operation of the APP system, then view the DTC set criteria for the DTC, that information should lead you to understand the system on how it operates. Research any star cases, or bulletins associated with they symptom or DTCs. Using that knowledge, view the freeze frame data…

I think you may have missed the point of my comment. I gave you the outline to diagnose this and almost every other problem you will encounter. I didn't provide a silver bullet, I want to see if you are willing to put in the work to learn.

It's not about giving me classes, what I need is to normalize the jeep and deliver it to the client, not always have all the knowledge and information.

Excellent information, there is no doubt that the signal is fine from the pedal sensor, you know that I have noticed the MAP measurement that at idle remains at 22 kpas or 6 inhg while the normal would be 17-18 inhg, I consider a value too high low idle, do you think this could be affecting this?

I continue to fight with the 2015 jeep, I found a leak in the intake manifold it was corrected and the fault continues. I have noticed something with the MAP sensor readings in the morning that I started it at idle, the MAP detected 69 KPASC, in the afternoon that it started again it had 22 KPASC, I consider a low value and the barometric pressure 92 kpascal, which could cause this, voltage…

You're checking the wrong thing: the code refers to the throttle body having an issue, NOT the pedal assembly. The code refers to TPS circuit 1 ‘high’. If the throttle is dancing, it will cause the other code to set. Check the voltage for TPS 1. Should start at about .5 and go to about 4 V or so at WOT. Since the code is set you won't be able to move the throttle without a good scanner (ETC…

Thanks for your answer, sometimes it's time to check new vehicles with the wrong tool, I want to ask you something; This truck was crashed and has several active codes for sensors that it does not have, and I have noticed something that when disconnecting a sensor, for example. the MAP and making measurements the code remains permanent it is not erased, I ask you if the high value of tps 1 will…

It's a 2015, so it has Mode 10 (permanent codes). They cannot be ‘erased’. The PCM has to run the monitors for the codes associated with the failure, before the code will clear. However, the ‘current’ codes, should clear and the light should go out. If the MIL does NOT go out, the codes are still current.

Carlos, volts looks like they are ok, I‘m assuming this is with engine at idle. Or ignition On. Now leave ignition switch On Engine Off, push the accelerator and you should see the voltage going up accordingly with the accelerator, all the way to about 4.5. if this test shows ok, your problem might be something else. You mentioned that this car was in an accident, maybe wires are short, or the…

The strange thing is that after the crash the truck was running, later it failed.

Without having a scanner to put it into ‘follower’ mode, the throttle body won't move on this, doing it with just the KOEO.
