Hello, I know you are probably tired of me and this truck but I still cannot find a cure for this issue. I have recorded a video I will post it here maybe you can help me gain some direction or should I just send it to the dealer? Let me know what you think

How about a clearer picture of the screen when it tells you that communication has failed? I'd like to read whatever it is telling you could possibly be the cause.

Your IDS should connect to the pcm in the first place. Even blank it will connect to the base boot software. Are you SURE the harness is right? Are there any wired switched because of a weird option? I know you verified powers and grounds, but it you replaced the pcm and harness for damaged pins, and the pcm is right, it should talk at the first screen and tell you the pcm is blank and ask for a…

what are you doing replacing a bad module ? IDS has 3 different programmable options PMI did you collect old software from old module or are you just reflashing needing ;as built data . Are you running same software same version as dealer is running .

Put in old pcm and see if it will communicate if it still won’t work check for voltage at pcm and can data

Could you also provide a picture of both wire harness stickers to confirm wire harness part numbers.

What interface tool are you using? Are you replacing the module? google advanced ford programming, there is a video that will walk you thru it
