Hi yall. I have my first FCA program needed since they went to the new system, its been a few years. I have avoided any FCA vehicles due to the annoyance of their setup. My question is, to program this 2016 jeep. What subscriptions do I need exactly? do I need a wiTECH 2.0, TechAuthority. and a Vehicle Reprogramming Subscription? the FCA 2534 manual just says to get them all. that seems overkill to me, and I am using a Passthu Pro 4 from snappy.

Yes those are the subscriptions needed to program FCA vehicles. The wiTECH page has changed to mopartsp.com and you will need to sign up for the site. It just replaced the previous wiTECH 2.0 site.

I understand there has to be change. But they change things monthly. Took a decade for GM to change to SPS2. I’m just saying, they make it so confusing for most of us when they change things all the time.

wiTECH2 has been unchanged since it was launched back in … Changes have to be made because of the network that the Wagoneer vehicles will be using wiTECH3

LOL @ "But they change things monthly. " - Well....."They" have been SIX different companies in the last 25 years, that isn't really conducive to cohesiveness. More like, a giant ffffing mess is all they know! ;-)

Yup all three, you will also need an Okta account as well and plan on at least two days for them to approve the tool. the set up is a pain in the ass but once it’s all set up it’s a breeze to use. Just remember the limitations of the year models that can’t be flashed before you take in a job, Snapon’s website has all that information on it.

I applaud your enthusiasm, but maybe if FCA programming is going to be very few and far between, call in a mobile tech.

We have found for us it is far more cost effective & quicker to just send to dealer. FCA is just too confusing to use for us & expensive. Dealer charges $75. No brainer.
