Hands-on Automotive Software & Electronics Boot Camps - Various Dates

Ariel from Las Vegas Owner Posted   Latest

FutureTech is excited to announce that it is now offering hands-on Automotive Software & Electronics Boot Camps - Participants will learn how to quickly and inexpensively build circuits and software that will permit them to build their own diagnostic tools or training aids. In turn, they will then have ability to control or influence the vehicle’s system operations for the purpose of diagnosing real (or simulated) problems.

These boot camps also address the exponential growth in the future of automotive repair as a whole. Electric Drivetrains, Autonomous Vehicle Systems, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and Telematics present new categories of software, firmware, hardware, and networking problems that current automotive professionals have not been adequately equipped to solve; however FutureTech has solutions to address these technology gaps.

“The industry’s desire to understand, maintain, and repair vehicle components has overshadowed the need to understand what drives the components – the software and electronics,” says Vehicle Electrification technologist and Subject Matter Expert Dr. Mark …, “modern vehicles are complex and very software-based. Automotive technicians and educators need to acquire skills and experiences that will permit them to flexibly adapt”.

Hi Rudy -

Each of the boot camps are five days in length. The official class hours are 8:30AM-4:30PM minus one hour for lunch, so the total instruction time is 35 hours when finished. And yes, we're happy to say that the instructor will be Dr. … for each of them.

All of the official information for each of the boot camps is located at this link. We are currently working on hotel room blocks for the events and will have that info soon. Please let me know if you have any additional questions, I'd be happy to help.
