Mitsubishi MUT III SE Login Issues
Hello,
I am curious if anyone has successfully downloaded, installed and been able to log into the MUTIII SE Software (Mitsubishi R2R). I have downloaded and installed the software and purchased a subscription to test it, but I get an error when logging in. “DXA has been terminated due to an unexpected error”. Has anyone encountered this error and been able to resolve it? I've tried installing on a Windows 10 machine and also a Windows 7 machine after 10 failed. Both give me the error. I can log in online and use service information without issue.
As for contact for Mitsubishi, there is a link to call a dealer. I doubt that would lead anywhere. If anyone knows of an actual contact at Mitsubishi who would know something/anything about the R2R software, that would be helpful as well.
Thanks for any help,
Jamie
Yep been there done that, with windows 7 you have to hit continue even when the error comes up (try and try Again and suddenly it will work). I mentioned this issues years ago, it’s a problem with their software
I have hit ok too many times. It always boots to the software but I always get the error first and don’t have access to any functionality as a result.
Are they both 32 bit machines with the correct Java version?
The Windows 7 laptop is 32bit. I don’t see any reference to a specific version of java in the requirements. Do you see that somewhere?
I have seen your posts to NASTF on this issue. Have you been able to successfully load the software and log in without the DXA error?
It requires Java 1.8.0.25 though its not published anywhere (you only find that out after hours of troubleshooting). I did log on several weeks back, but since I don't have a current subscription, I wouldn't be able to test it at this time.
That’s helpful. Thank you Jeff. I have a subscription for the day so I’ll try that in a bit and report back!
I'd love to be saying it helped, and maybe it was a step in the right direction, but it didn't resolve it. I still have the same error at boot. “DXA has been terminated due to an unexpected error”. Any other ideas?
I found a log in the DXA folder. Here's what it says: …:22:55,543 INFO LoginMMNA - START …:23:01,048 INFO LoginMMNA - Login Start …:23:01,160 INFO LoginMMNA - Login End …:23:01,160 INFO LoginMMNA - END …:23:09,721 ERROR Program - Unable to connect to MMNA server So is there some security setting or something which is blocking access…
I’ve never downloaded it due to hearing that it never works. I’ve heard it’s an ongoing issue with no end in sight.
It seems that most haven’t had any success, but I have seen a recent post from Jack Short successfully using the software (on Windows 10) and coding an SRS module.
Thanks Jamie. Gonna give it shot next time I get a call for Mitsubish.
I gave up on mut3 my first experience was horrible and had software downloaded perfectly and could never login with same errors continuously within last few months there was a notice on there sight stating drew tech devices would not work I tried three other j devices and no luck i am using a partioned lab top in which has no software conflicts good luck
Yes, I've seen this video as well. I've commented asking if he's ran into this issue, unfortunately no response. I've ran into exactly what you have mentioned.
There is a file called “Trace” in the DXA\LOG folder and it has this error: …:51:03,237 FATAL LoginMMNA - The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. I think it may offer a clue as to what is going on. As if there is a security setting it doesn't like? But this is not my area of expertise. Anyone who could offer insight?
Jamie, Verify your clock is set correctly on your computers. What browser are you using? Have you tried others? Some browsers don't recognize some SSL/TLS certificates.
Hi Eric. I have tried setting my default browser as Chrome, IE11 and Edge with the same error. Clock is synced and set to my time zone (gmt-8)
So, I got curious this morning and I went ahead and tried a $20 experiment. I bought a new Mitsu subscription, fired up all four of my identically-configured laptops and signed in to the MUT3 software on each. All of these laptops are running Ubuntu and VMWare 16. Inside of that are four exact clones of the same Windows 10 virtual machine, with the most current version of MUT3 installed. 3…
Very interesting indeed. Not sure if it’s relevant to the issue, but are you able to check your Java security advanced settings for ssl and tls to note if anything differs between machines? Also within internet explorer the same advanced security settings? Also is your default browser the same on all machines? What is it set to? Thanks.
I'll check those values next chance I get, but one thing for certain is that all four machines have the exact same values since the virtual machine is literally copied from one to the next.
Very strange. Any differences between laptop hardware? Also curious if you can check your dxa/log folder in the trace file to see if it is the same tls error I received?
I'll grab that log data at the same time as the other info when I get back in front of the machines. Two of the laptops are identical, the other two are so similar as be considered identical. All 4 are Dell Latitudes, either 6540s or 6530s. In that pic, the machine on the left is a 30 and the one on the right is a 40. All are 16Gb, quad-core i7 with identical BIOS and OpSys with 2T WD blue…
That's awesome you would spend your time and money to help out like this. Heck, I'll Venmo you $20 just to say thanks for your effort. If there's a private message option here PM me your handle.
Well, it's helping me out too. If a customer calls me up and wants me to reflash Mitsubishi, it's good to know ahead of time that I'm capable of doing it. Hopefully I'll get some time to mess around with it again before my subscription ends tonight. The reality is I only see one or two Mitsubishi's a year at best, but like GI Joe said - knowing is half the battle.
I’d also be interested to see what the trace log says for an error after your subscription expires on a a laptop that is working (assuming you get the DXA error with no subscription). If it’s a different error, we may be able to test out the connection without subscribing.
That's a most excellent idea. I didn't think of that. I'll get the logs from the working subscription, wait it out for to expire and then try to login again and grab new logs. I left all the machines in the state they were in when I took that picture. I'm off today, so I didn't need the laptops. It will be interesting to see if it gets logged out while idle.
One thing's for sure, you'll get a bunch of calls for Mitsubishi programming just as the subscription expires.
Managed to resolve today with Mitsubishi! You should notice your error screen is gone on your non working laptop, even without a subscription.
Nope. Still no-good on that one. Wanna share what you did?
Hi Jeff, Well turns out I was a little quick on the response to say all was good. It's not working for me this evening either! I'll be calling back tomorrow morning for sure. I'm not sure what they did, it was on the back end of their server. I didn't change anything on my end from not working to working. I can say that while it was working, the log showed the successful log in and during that…
No it hadn’t. I’ve been dealing with them last couple of days. So there’s a new version of DXA out now. Try to download the software again and make sure to install DXA again. The login window looks totally different Than the old one. They also said Windows 10 with Chrome as tje default browser works best. It’s now working for me again.
Jamie, I am dealing with this issue today. I have read this entire thread. It seems that you were able to contact someone at Mitsubishi to get a resolution. How do you contact them. I can't find a phone number or an email address that will go to the right department.
After a little more digging I have to say a big thank you to Mitsubishi for stepping up and helping. After some calls I actually got in contact with helpful people at Mitsubishi technical. They took my logs and worked directly with their programming team to fix the login issue. I can say have now successfully logged in through DXA with no errors. Windows 10 64-bit OS.
Yes, curious as well, currently sitting on DXA error code for the same exact “ERROR Program - Unable to connect to MMNA server” in DXA log file. W7 fails, W10 fails.
Interesting on the back end of there sever ya that is unfortunate when we need it
Hi Everyone, I have read all the replies in this post and tried to apply the information I have learned and so far I am still stuck. I am hoping that one of you that fixed it will be able to give me some more details. I originally tried with a windows 7 32-bit machine because that is what the PC requirements called for. I update Java as some suggested. I can log into the tech information site…
Way late to the party. I just purchased a sub, but I can't seem to find the DL link to the MUT-III SE install file on Mitsubishi's website. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Click on the R2R tab at the top. Then page over at the bottom of the screen. Then you have to enter a vin of a vehicle. Just google a vin will be fine If you don’t have it handy. Then you will see the link to download the software. Hope that helps.
