Received this from MB USA Today. If you have accounts of any kind with MB USA please review and update your accounts so that your access is uninterrupted. I am unclear on how they plan to handle Canada. When this was presented to me a couple of years ago my understanding was that this was a North American solution. As soon as I can find out the facts I will post more information to this post. 

On December 1, 2021 Daimler AG will split into two independent companies as below:

Mercedes-Benz AG (Cars, Vans) and

Daimler Truck AG (Truck, Bus).

Your Action Required: In order to continue using our After-Sales products (spare parts, workshop diagnosis and software products e.g. WIS/ASRA) without any problems in the future, we urgently need you to inform us by December 1, 2021 what vehicle types your workshop usually repairs. To do this please follow the link below and select the divisions/vehicle types for which your workshop usually offers a repair service.

Please have your user ID and password ready. Please do not register your company again as your company has already been registered with us. Only your timely response can prevent a possible deactivation of your system access from December 1, 2021. So we urge you to take the time to complete the above action as soon as possible.

gotta love mercedes… Went to site, went thru the process, installed ID-NOW, it gave me an ID, now when I try to login to IDNOW, it says wrong ID… ID-now is a feeble company, why MB would go with a company like this is beyond me…

Same thing here I believe we have to wait for Daimler to approve the id order before we can proceed.
