Looking for J2534 Nissan NERS or Consult 3+ TCM calibration file for RE7R01A
So I've been on the hunt for one of these files for a while now. The techinfo website doesn't have these files listed as options to download, I was looking through their list (the csv file BLNK 9 IK ALL you get when you download any of their files) and none of the calibration files were for the the 370Z. Does anyone have a lead on where I could obtain one of these? I don't care what calibration ID it has.
email … let them know what you are looking for. They have always helped me out.
I did just now, thanks. I just hope they're different than the nissan techinfo website customer service email listed, I tried asking them for the files and they kept telling me "this part doesn't need to be programmed and the file doesn't exist". Which is dumb, the file has to exist somewhere, I don't care if it needs to be reprogrammed or not.
Usually with in a few hours. Last week we did a SRS control unit for a 2018 Rogue that needed calibration after new unit was installed. I emailed them and they sent it right over.
Interesting, i emailed yesterday around 1pm and still haven't received any response back
Well they responded back finally, with part numbers for the ECM saying they're located on nissan-techinfo lol that's about as helpful as the techinfo customer service
Hello! Maybe I can help you. send me the vin, and the part# of the TCM. I can look and see if I can get it for you. On this vehicles you can get the calibration when you get the software for the TCM.
You can try JN1AZ44E79M404154, but i really don't care what the calibration ID is, as long as it's a file for that transmission.
I found the calibration you need in Nissan, you can download for $20 310C03RX2D Hope this is what you need
Oscar, are you talking about downloading from the tech info website? That calibration isn't listed on their website.
Yes, if you download the file, it will give you the software, and the calibration file. let me see if I have it in my computer, I have done a lot of this in the past. maybe I can send you the file some how.
I've downloaded many files from Nissan tech info, my issue is that the file to download simply isn't offered on their website. If you do have the file that would be great
Evan, Are you able to read a part number from the TCM when hooking up a scan tool ?.. Most newer scan tools can read the ECM and TCM part numbers.. This transmission already comes with data installed into the TCM. Usually when this occurs.. if there is a replaced unit.. the "data" needs to be saved and transferred to the new unit using a factory C3+ tool
I can check, i have a consult 3+ but i've just been doing everything with NERS so far. I don't need to transfer any data, I just want to look through the data. Will my consult allow me to just read the data out without transferring it to another TCM? Edit - I am a reverse engineer, this is for RE purposes
In your C: drive you should have a Reprogramming folder that will have your update files stored.. .dat files .. BLNK9/ BLNK1/ REPR1 / REPR9 .. where you can peer through. But as far as going further then that, i do not think so.. When a TSM needed to look at data they had there own version of C3+ that had special permissions in the Sub Mode system administration tab that had them log into a…
That's fine, i can just extract the data from a CAN-bus sniff on read.... Apparently you need the programming file though just to read out? I clicked on Re/programming, selected transmission, then selected "Before ECU Replacement". An error box popped up that said "Programming data not detected, please download latest programming data" (or something to that effect). So it's like chicken and egg…
Thats the difference between a factory consult 3+.. the factory consult 3+ has access to Asist which gets updated with the latest version of C3+ and all content including every single program file installed on the C: drive.. anyone purchasing a C3+ outside of the dealer gets a factory tool.. less ALL the programming files. So yes.. u need to have the file to sniff around
Also you are correct, i went to sub mode -> System administration and the current operating mode is Technician mode / Normal operating mode
