Mazda immobilizer system down?
I was trying to perform a keyless entry learn for a shop after they replaced the keyless module and the steering lock, when I put the information in the mazda immobilizer request I got the message “Database down / System not available” there was no notice on Mazda’s website. I was wondering how I can check in the future if their site is down rather than pay the subscription again and try it over again.
I can't recall the last time Mazda's immo site did work. I just use an incode/outcode generator for those cars.
If an in-out code is needed, goggle TM100 key programmer software. It's free to DL. It's an updater for their tool. It is a large file, 300mb. Run the software. Once open, at the top header is a tab for the code generator.
Hey DB, So you are saying that will run as a “standalone” program, even though it is supposed to be just the updater for the TM100 tool? Not sure I found right thing….says 89MB
Good morning, you are correct about the size of the program. When I first purchased the tool, the initial DL was large. Now 89mb is about right, depending if it's a RAR file or EXE. Once open, click on calculator. Some screenshots.
Awesome, bro, thanks! I'll get that onto my work laptop ASAP and try it.
Try Forscan, I have done some early Mazda IMMO systems with it. If it will work, it will not even ask for in code and out code. It just does it in the back ground. Go here and sign up for free trial to see if it will work for you. forscan.org/home.html You can use a J-2534 tool. I use my VCM II with it.
Thank you guys for your help, I was able to use the TM100 software and confirmed it with the Mazda subscription that they extended for me. Using the TM100 was way faster than waiting the 10-15 minutes . I also got Forscan and will be trying it out on some cars soon.
