Ford Lincoln Keyfob program
I have a Lincoln MKS with the push to start system that I’m trying to program a key. After the 10 minute timed wait, my diag tool is able to gain security access but I’m receiving a “ RFA SECURITY ACCESS DENIED” , when I go to program the key fob. This is for all Keys lost. I’m using an Autel scanner .
Does anyone have any insight as to where I’m going wrong?
You need a key that is programed to the car, to be able to add a key. If you don't have an original working key. you will need to do a parameter reset, after a parameter reset you will need to program 2 new keys
When I go to perform a parameter reset . It requires that I have the car in on position, which I’m not able to do without man original key. Do you know how I can bypass this?
You need to have a tool to force ignition on, i don't believe autel will do that, the autel IM608 will
No idea with Autel its 1 click with Launch IMMO- Reset key/Add new Key/ All keys lost if you have one around .
I live in Reedsville . No joke and have IDS if you’d like me to program. …
I was able to get it programmed. thank you all for your input!
Just do add key it does not matter if you have any existing keys. Leave emergency lights blinking or keep pressing brake to keep computers awake during 10 minutes security access… very important for voltage to not drop below 12 volt so have charger attached. With im608 Go to ford lincoln enter vin manually if it does not read under auto.. go to immo / smart/ add key… make sure key is correct…
