There was a note in my drew tech program that .06 was having problems. I just flashed 2 fords after installing .01 without a problem. Didn't try .06

Personally I only update when I have no other choice but to update.

Unless you think there is an update for that vehicle that needs to be in there, that was released in the last 3 months, I would leave it at 116.01

I have used 116.06 to do a Lin Module Initialization, program a RCM/IVD Initialization, and PSCM with no issues.

Dennis, I would stay on 116.01. I have 2 Service Information Requests going on vehicles that could not be programmed or have parameter resets with the newest version. I have asked Ford to line me out on where FJDS, FDRS and IDS issues are. I will post something as soon as I get an answer.

I wonder if any of the Ford software team would be willing to monitor this site. Feed back like: current issue working on a resolution no eta..... It could keep you from chasing your tail assuming the OEM tooling is bug free.

Chris This is a great idea and actually one that I am working on right now. To get auto maker partners to review these sorts of things and have Diagnostic Network push these kinds of things forward to an asked a forum. So thanks for the idea. When we get closer we’ll get your input on how to refine it and make it better.

I'm at 116.06, I did a BCM replacement and program, parameter reset, LIN new model initialization, TPMS ptogramming, PMI on the PAM, etc yesterday with no issues at all. Hope this helps
