General question regarding posts

David Owner/Technician Ontario Posted   Latest

Hello one and all: Hope I am doing this correctly and have addressed it to the correct forum. In regards to member's posts. Either technical or social. How long are they archived for? Is there a way to search for old/past posts/discussions? I seem to remember at the other site the old help posts were only available for a short time period/while open. Is it the same here? Do I click on a topic and open it and it will list all posts/discussions past and present? Thank you for your assistance. KEEP UP THE SUPERB WORK. Best Regards to ALL. Happy Thanksgiving. Harley.

Clicking on the "All Messages" pulldown will reveal all the different message types, topics and user groups. Please let us know if you have any further questions and thanks for the…

Hi Scott: Thank you again for your assistance. Just another question that is sorta related. I can make another post if it should have it's own separate "Life". Can one contact other members/posters privately? I played around with what I thought would get me there but I didn't get the results that I expected. I clicked on a member's picture, got his profile and only had the options to click on…

This is an upcoming feature that is high on my list. Best source of info on features of DN right now is the help page: diag.net/help

To follow up on what Scott said, there is no limit on how long you can view a message on DN. So even without searching, if you have or find a link to any message, including older messages, you will be able to read it.
