Park assist short range radar variant error
Hello fellow techs. I programmed short range(left front and rear)radars. The problem I am having is the park assist is unavailable. There are no codes in park assist however there are two codes in the modules I programmed(b390a-45 variant not programmed) I did the programming followed by setup which ask for rpo uvz which the vehicle has. I did the setup and it’s still giving me the same code. Not sure if they may have given the wrong part number. Here are some pics. Thanks
Had same issue on a subaru. Used snap on solus edge to perform encoding procedure (test function). Took less than 3 minutes. No realignment after.
Thanks Juan. I’m using factory gds2 and factory programming tis2web so I don’t think it’s a tool issue. Thanks
What i meant was i had to program the slave module to the master module. On the 2019 subaru it was blind spot modules. Everything calibrated and functioned properly just a encoding variant dtc would return.
Does the vehicle have any aftermarket equipment installed? May i ask why the vehicle came in to your shop? (Original complaint?)
Thanks Fermin. No am parts as far as I can tell. Front and rear end collision.
Ok so read a little more and found that it may have not learned the correct position which I guess is possible due to changing both at the same time and they are both on the same can and same part numbers so not sure how it knows which one is in the front and which one is in the back.
Front and rear radar modules are not the same part numbers. Can you check the old ones ?
