Snap On MT 552 tester
Good day everybody! While it's quiet here I have been tasked with resurrecting our Snap On MT 552 battery/charging system/electrical tester. The cord ends are a sorry mess, I will need to shorten them a bit and get the voltage sense leads correctly connected at the clamps. I was wondering if any body here has a manual for this monster that they could scan into a pdf (or what ever) and email to me. It's always nice to have the operator's manual available. Bonus points if some one has service information (like a wiring diagram) - I will cough up one of those bounty thingies for service information! Thank you for your time. Ward …

Hello Edward! There are manuals for the MT539B, and MT539C - close but no cigar! Thanks for the link though, I dropped into that rabbit hole for an hour or so to see what was there. I did down load a manual for a Briggs and Stratton engine. Ward
Hi Ward: I checked.. I have the MT539C and the manual that goes with it. So I am no help as well.. BUT....... I have, in the past, contacted Snap On Diagnostics and they have located and sent me copies of manuals for older equipment which I still have but lost the manuals. Give it a try. Hope it helps. I came up dry on finding a manual for this tester The battery ends were in very sorry condition, and the smaller wires in the cables to read battery voltage at the clamps were rotted off and had been hacked and twisted in with the main cables back from the clamps. Here ya go. My MT552 does not start loading up until I'm almost at the last 1/2 to 3/4 of turn left on the load knob. Is yours that way too? I just got mine and testing its functions. Please let me know how yours responds to the load knob adjustment. I would like to have mine working as best as possible. …
