Drowned Ford
I have a truck that got stuck in mud then rained soon after, truck sank sideways towards the passenger side filling water up to the passenger seat stopping at the center console. Bcm was going crazy as expected from all the water also found transfer case control module soaked. My question is other than chasing codes. Is there a way to find out what modules came on that vehicle other than the standard modules. My plan of attack is to inspect each module for water intrusion and maybe giving connectors a brake cleaner bath and chase it with some dielectric grease. But I would really like to have a list of some sort so I can make it faster. I did a network test and all the standard modules respond. It's the optional modles that's making me wonder if there's other smoked modules that had a watery grave.
Run OASIS on it and use the HVBOM and it will tell you all modules that are with the vehicle.
That function is not in the aftermarket login, not sure about fleet logins, but I think its only available in the dealer login.
Well I'd run it for him but since he didn't bother adding the VIN I can't help out.
Doesn't the live network monitor also give that info along with part numbers?
1FT7W2BTXKED64349 that's the vin sorry I posted this trying to help a friend.
