Accessing third brake light
Hi DN, I wish every one here a happy new year in advance. So the problem is trying to access the third brake light of this flying spur. I have never removed one from a bentley and this particular vehicle is not here with me. I was called by the customer who stays far away. He said the technicians are having problem removing the rare sit to access the third brake light. So I told him to hold on let me consult some master techs.
Pls any help would be appreciated and it would even be better and easier if I get pictures or videos of the rear seat removal process. Thanks for reading.
Maybe someone knows of service information available on line. However, being a Bentley….maybe not.
Of course Bentley service information is available online. Right here !
I'm not familiar with the model but I did find a diagram online. HTH.
I believe the third brake light for the 2006 Continental is accessed from inside the trunk. It is mounted along the lower rear of the back window. You can get access to the Bentley service information on a daily, three days, one month or one year subscription. The information is available here . Here is a picture of the third brake light that might help. diag.net/file/f6tuf5ovm… Eric
Erwin/Bentley SI is relatively cheap for 1 or 2 days. You can also download the docs. I am not sure if that particular SI has access to R&R procedures tho. I can't remember.
When I use VW and others that are under the same SI umbrella (Erwin) I search for what I need before buying the subscription. The search results come back with a link to the SI and the specific area that covers the information I need. I've found if there is no results returned what I'm looking for is not covered in the SI. I learned that trick when I had a yearly subscription and it works…
Thanks sir. Good to know. Been a year or so since I had used it.
