A/C Vents Not Working
the vehicle described above, has been brought in with issues that vents will not switch between different settings, meaning wont go from lower vents to dash vents. the only setting it works on is the top defroster. costumer has done multiple repairs such as; a/c auto amplifier module, and full evaporator system yet it does not function codes: b2579 In-vehicle sensor, B2631 sun-load sensor, B2632 driver air mix door motor, B2634 passenger air mix door motor B2636 when the malfunctioning door position is detected at vent position,B2637 when the malfunctioning door position is detected at B/L position, B2655 when the malfunctioning door position is detected at B/L2, BB2638 when the malfunctioning door position is detected at foot position, B2654 when the malfunctioning door position is detected at D/F position, B2639 when the malfunctioning door position is detected at DEF position, B263D when the malfunctioning intake door position is detected at fresh air intake position, B263E when the malfunctioning intake door position is detected at 20% fresh air intake position, B263F when the malfunctioning intake door position is detected at REC position update: all wiring has been checked and a/c amplifier has power and ground, along with all the motors described in the code section.
Have you done any diagnostics? Codes? Checked wiring? Any useful info we can go on to help?
Test mode door motor. Does it blow hot and cold through the defrost vents?
When the A/C auto amplifier is replaced. The data from the old unit needs to be saved and transferred into the new unit. This must be done using the factory tool. I do not see any codes listed. But the new A/C amplifier i can tell you for sure comes blank and software needs to be transferred or programmed with the factory tool.
If you can get the original amplifier plug it in and see what happens, clear the codes out 1st. and see what comes back. What is meant by full evaporator system, new housing with new motors\actuators and doors? you mentioned the wiring has been checked, did that include testing the actual signals (not only power and grounds) with a meter or scope? or was this a visual check for rodent damage
