2010 Mini Cooper S Runs Rough, Code P0190

Update your post with year, make and model. A Vin will help also.
My apologies just noticed that the VIN number did not paste onto the post.
No worries, Iv'e done it myself. Using your scanner, look at the data for the pressure sensor and there should be about 725 PSI at idle up to a maximum of 1750 PSI at full load. Verify proper supply to the high pressure pump. The in-tank fuel pump should run at a constant 45 PSI. Check the connector to the fuel rail pressure sensor. I have seen loose connections and bent pins. I'll see if I can…
Fuel pressure sensor readings while connected to sensor. pin 1 yellow wire, .6volts koeo and 1.7volts@ idle pin 2, white wire, ground. pin 3, orange wire, 5V reference.
Thanks so much Dwight my apologies for the late response. We were able to purchase a Fuel Pressure without having to replace the whole fuel rail through an online source. Otherwise you will have to replace the fuel rail with sensor even thought the fuel pressure sensor is removable. Compared the brand new sensor to the old one, and Pins 2 & 3 of the Fuel pressure had an open circuit. New one…
