Has anyone heard that GM is stopping support of salvage/branded titles vehicles meaning not gonna be able to program the modules ect. Something about the safety and liability.

I know they will not give you any phone support on a salvaged vehicle if you run into problems. I have not yet heard of them actually preventing programming of modules.

Thanks for the reply, I haven’t had to program any salvage ones yet so I wasn’t sure.

Thank You Scott,

We are looking forward to a very informative discussion.

Understanding our liability in vehicle repairs based on what we do, don't do, or the reasons why, need to be examined closely. This may create many more questions we all need to think about during the repair process. Plenty of time is dedicated to questions and discussion with information and opinions from experts in several areas of the industry including, legal, OEM, service providers, information providers, training and certification representation.
