NERS Reprogramming Error: N_UDS_STEP1_RC22
Hey, all!
I've done some digging and emailed Tweddle, but wanted to see if anyone has run into this. I showed up to program a donor ECU for this 2020 Altima yesterday, which the customer pulled from the same year/model vehicle. Grabbed the calibration for the part number, then went to flash the thing and got this error:
N_UDS_STEP1_RC22
Anyone know if this is a mismatch code or something else?
Thanks in advance for your help!
What is your connection to the vehicle? A J box? I ask as UDS is in that line. kvaser.com/about-can/can…
MaxiSys VCMI and DS Nxgen. The TCM programmed fine with the Nxgen.
I am well Bruce! I saw your help wanted post! I hope you get some help!
LOL. You aren't going to be able to program that vehicle with v3.xx NERS. You will need v4.xx and secure access at a minimum. You will also need the secure gateway workaround patch cable since you're not using the Consult. I'm also not certain that late model Nissan ecms are reusable. I have rewritten the VIN on 2017+ Vehicles, so 2020 might be okay.
Used? No go on that. If it was older you could click a couple buttons on certain scan tools and get it to work. Not that one
Thanks all for the information. I greatly appreciate it!
To get any help with Nissan or Infinity Tech info you need to email to the following address: … Someone will usually reply within an hour. Sometimes longer.
I've never had anyone at Nissan get back to me in less than a week.
