Vibration

03 sienna has vibration in right front of vehicle under acceleration and it feels like a bad axle. I have replaced both axles twice and all the mounts except for trans mount on driver side since it was ok all other mounts required replacement. Have not been able to get vibration to go away.

What testing have you done, other than replacing parts? It is times like these where the Pico NVH tools are priceless.

or for a lot less money you can get the NVH app by John Kelley and just use your phone ive used it with great success and the customer service is first class John knows a ton about things that shake

Have you rotated the tires ? There may be fix-a-flat inside the right front tire ? Has this vibration been a gradual growing problem or did it just happen overnight ?

Yes i have rotated and balanced the tires I checked alignment which was good. The customer had already tried new wheels and tires before bringing it to us. Finally got the story that this started the day he picked it up from another shop that was replacing the struts its been doing it for over a year now.

There are many options in vibration tools these days, and they are reasonably priced. For how much time and parts you have in this car the shop could have bought one. Vibrations have become harder to find due to transfer path issues related to new materials used. Also, many of the failures we see happen at various orders making it hard for the technician to feel based on experience.
