Todd, thanks for the information. I do have a newer ethos but none of the other tools. I was really looking for both waveforms in relation to each other but thank you!

Best of luck. with other scope set up the voltage 5VDC with a timebase of 10ms for channels 1 & 2. Add a third channel to trigger off of the ignition coil this will help you establish the correlation. are you trying to determine chain slop or miss-timed? Watch out for the thermal splice (ground) on the back of the engine plus the connect that feeds power.

Just my 2 cents, do an AF balance test. Injectors are A common replaced item. They come as 4 injectors. Not sold individually

This car is actually giving me fits. I'll attach the story if anyone can help. I have a help request open in another location. Description: Originally the car was towed in as a no start. Basic checks revealed poor fuel quality, plugs worn. (We found out later the father added fuel from a gas can that had been sitting in the back of his truck for some time). Did not drop tank, used fuel pump…

No worries, I forgot to mention crank learn has been cleared and learned. Once with a snap on tool, twice with iHDS.

But timing issues will affect all cylinders, the ignition coil have you swap them, also. It is very hard on this compute to identify the cylinders that is misfiring

Thanks for the waveform. This vehicle has been fixed. There was still fuel contamination in the tank.
