Hello I have a 2011 bmw 328I with random misfire faults at idle. Does anyone have a known good incylinder pressure waveform that they can share?

Take your own you said thr misfire is romdom that means when the engine is working properly you have know good wave form , but incylinder wave form for romdom misfire issues will be the last test you want to do.

Any codes other than random 03xx? What's your F/T, Fuel Quality, Oil condition….? Good Luck, Dan

Get the smooth running parameters checked on cold start. Will most likely be fuel injector or multiple that are knocking out the smooth runnings and causing missfire feeling.

I would not go in cylinder for a Random Misfire. A dead miss with a dead hole. Then I may go in cylinder, maybe not. Take a deep breath and try to identify which cylinder is misfiring using the smooth running values. All cylinders misfire at random? Dont overlook crankcase pressure, too much or not enough.

Go to mode 6 and see if you can identify which cylinder are worse, this sometimes can help narrow down.
