Trying to help a friend out. He has replaced the B1 A/F sensor. Intake boot B1. I haven’t gotten to look at it yet. Just seeing if these have a common problem. like cracked exhaust manifold or Maf sensors, etc… thanks in Advance.

The converters are known to crack at the support brackets.

How are your trims at idle and cruising speeds?

thank you for the info. It was indeed a crack at the bracket. I haven’t dealt much with older Nissans. I probably didn’t put this post in the proper area. I was mainly looking for common problems from techs who have seen these vehicles way more than I.

Glad to help. You didn't post in the wrong area you just didn't do any of the leg work (testing) before posting. Nobody learns anything if we all just ask for silver bullets. That is not what this website is for. Not trying to be harsh just a heads up and again glad you found the problem.

I understand. Maybe I didn’t post in the wrong area. I probably should have posted In IATN Or a diagnostic forum or something similar. Not a help to test sight. I use peoples experiences as a TSB.
