Parameter reset (ECU and BCM synchronization after ECU replacement)
What information are you having trouble obtaining?
Can not perform parameter reset function, additional key programming, anything that involves LSID login. It asks to enter motorcraft service login, after that LSID and Authy Token. After all info entered returns general failure
What steps have you taken to obtain the information you need?
Contacted Ford Rotunda several times, they checked everything from their side and forwarded to NASTF. Contacted NASTF several times to check whether problem with LSID account - confirmed that there are no problems with the account. Last working version of IDS, that was working - 119. After updated to 124.01 no more PATS functionality. Tried reinstalling IDS, tried two different laptops, different Windows (Windows7 and Windows10), found a solution on diagnostic network to uninstall and perform registry cleaning with CC Cleaner. Tried that - same message. Tried installing last working version of IDS, but it doesn't start - immediately asks to update to newest version. Tried uninstalling everything , and running IDS clean up utility from motorcraft service webpage, and installing everything back. Didn't help.
James, Do you have the VIN for that Fusion so the Ford guys can look for logs? Also, if you have it could you tell me the date and approximate time you tried this most recently? I want to look at the SDRM logs. There was a security update between Ford and SDRM a few days ago. Lots of Ford traffic but we have had 2 inexplicable errors. Tried today again …:10 AM), message at the end: “There may be a possible server issue. Contact Ford Help Desk” . Called local locksmith. Experiencing same problem. Browsing diagnostic network - multiple threads with same issue. Called Ford - Everything working on their side, blaming NASTF.
I have been chasing Ford Team. We ran confirmation tests with them on the 20th with their updates and all passed on our end. Everyone is checked out for Christmas. I will update if I can get someone on the phone or email to assist.
Ford IT reports they have fixed the problem. Please try again. Let me know if the problems is still there. You may want to delete the IDS session and start from scratch. If that is appropriate for what you are doing.
Hello, update: today LSID login went through and PATS parameter begin to initialize. Two times in the row IDS crashed (Testman Runtime System has stopped working error). I switched to other laptop with Windows7 - same general failure message that we began with. Switched back to Windows10 and everything initializes until IDS crashes.
