Alternator control Toyota fortuner 2012
good colleagues I need help with references of this type of alternator controlled by ecm presents a fault when not generating, the signal disappears under load and when accelerating it returns but is not square, another technician who does not know the system claims that it is the alternator and would like more references thanks. yellow and purple signal control.
Not sure what model you are working on. Possibly a 4 Runner?? Anyway looks like the wire may be shorting to ground when you accelerate or the engine twists in the frame.
That vehicle lists as a 4runner in the USA….The Alternator may be different …. Do you have a alternator part number ? The Alternator on the USA vehicle are not computer controlled Has a 4 wire regulator plug….Ignition/Sense/Light/FR(feedback signal)
hola george conozco tres tipos no controlados, controlados por lin bus y pwm en mi caso el ecm lo control por pwm ya que es transmisión manual y el conector es IG SLM (DF) y sale al campo M, motor 1kd.
REG ND 12V Voltage Setpoint: 14.1 V Regulation: B-Circuit Terminal Identification: IG-S-L-M(FR) Terminals • 6 sec. LRC • Standard lamp function - no output • Full range LRC Looks like the USA version is the same as the B32 We usually check those to bypass the wiring by disconnect regulator plug and apply a jumper to IGN & Sense then B+ to this jumper Then energize with a test…
Known good for Toyota tundra On the yellow trace when the signal control is low what will happen to the voltage out put of the alternator right at the moment will it drop or go high? If it goes high the voltage out put will mean is shorted some where or the ecm is commanding 100% duty cicle, but if the control voltage is low and out put voltage of alt is low that will be the reason low voltage…
Bueno joel, cuento con dtc c1241 low voltage abs
C1241 ? What is the description ofor the dtc , circuit, performance for what?
