Scantool
Hello guys.
I would like to know if someone has experience with the DrivePro Remote from Opus IVS, what has been your experience, and would you recommend this scantool.
I like Opus IVS but they seem expensive. We use their cardaqm programmer and sometimes customer service is lacking. With the Drivepro program i think they log in with you and assist in diagnosing the vehicle. I would be interested in hearing how it works for you.
I have used this scanner for a couple of years. tech support has been good call back within an hour normally. they can even install OE software and walk you through the diag if needed to find that odd problem. With the flashing capability it can be expensive at times. Most modules $125 but can be more FCA close to $200 when you call they give you a call back time to do the programming. If they…
We use it in Huntington Beach and have remarkable success. Nice technical help when you need it.
We have a drive pro at our shop, I would recommend it especially if you work on European cars. For what it does, I don't think it's any more expensive than any other tool. The tech support is nice if you are not an expert with a particular system, they can help guide you. The drivepro comes in handy for programming as well.
Thanks you guys for taking the time and sharing your thoughts. I currently used their old unit blue box, and assist+, I just want it to add their new tool, and hope that my guys can used it with no problem. Happy thanksgiving!!!!
