P0300 — Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

Cylinder 2 keeps missfiring, pressure test 215 psi. New injector and harness, Coil spark plugs, all new. Always the same

I think 215 is awfully high I‘s be checking a good hole for comparison and if indeed your 215 is high I’d be looking at rocker arm activity

what is “pressure test"? You mean static compression? Do a running compression test and compare to another cylinder. There was a tutorial here on DN a few years ago if you are unfamiliar.

I can't keep up with vehicle, got to lay on engine now a days, running compression , I agree I hook up a vac gauge if I suspect a mechanical problem, then running compression

We like to use the pico scope and their pressure transducer, take a wave form of the compression. Use event timing layover and or compare it to a good cylinder. We find bad roller lifters or cam cause this problem.

To rule out a bad liffters just pull valve cover check for good lift. Then install coils to run it and back off #2 liffters a little at a time and see if misfire goes away . . Found a few bad liffters on the deactivation type ones buy just backing them off tell they click miss goes away .
