Vehicle Line Mismatch

So I get a Chrysler 200 from the body shop. Stage 1 airbag deployment, They had replaced the retractors but not the buckles, sent it back for buckles, now I have it again. I am not able to get to WiTech from my Autel J2534 (known issue). I have done all the OCS tests, reset the OCS sensors and calibrated steering angle and ABS . I am getting a vehicle line mismatch in the OCS module, is there a way to program the new module with an AutelElite without connecting to Witech? Thanks. I know I have a write vin under special functions but the vin is already valid. The OCS is locked after going through the OCS system check. Thanks for any help you can give.

To answer your question is “No” Autel can do a variety of calibration, coding for some modules but not programming, you can buy subscription and used your j2535 box with the OEM subscription. The OCS does not need any programming, it requires calibration after replacement. Has the OCM been replaced? What codes do you have in the ORC unit ?

Most likely wrong replacement ORC part # There is no programming, only Initialize

Am I assuming too much that the ORC is the SRS module by most terminology? Prior codes were for retractors, buckles, and lost communication with OCS. I was told by the body shop they replaced the SRS module (OCS). I did go through the ORC self test, which locked the ORC, calibrated the OCS seat sensors and set the steering angle.

So to clarify, prior I had B2722-00 ORC unlocked-all deployment disabled. I went through the special function screen and initialized the ORC, then got “ORC successfully unlocked” then I did the BCM proxi Configuration alignment, then the ABS G-sensor alignment, then the steering angle. The only code left is the mis-match. I did try the initialize ORC again, says it is already unlocked, this…

In what module you have the mis-match? From what you are saying, they replaced the ORC= Ocupant restraint control, simple as airbag control module.

That is what I was told. It came in with ORC seatbelts deployed- no airbags. I initialized the ORC, I see no problems but in the ORC module, I have one code the B222A-00 vehicle line mismatch. The ORC is now locked.

I found this information This DTC sets when the ORC detects a mismatch between the Vehicle Configuration and the ORC configuration for four seconds. Once the code sets in this ignition cycle it stays active for this ignition cycle. Looks like you will need to run the proxy configuration one more time, if the Autel does no fix this, try to see if you can get the OE tool and run this process…

So if it’s a new airbag module no programming needed just initialize and unlock it with witch should not have mismatch vin unless used may have to restore vehicle configuration or proxi align

Well, whoever posted that I may possibly have the wrong part number wins. I looked it up online, close but not a winner. Everything worked except the mis-match. 5 days to get the correct part. Thank you to all that responded!!!
