Anyone else have issues today with GDS2

GDS2 will not load after trying to update on two different PCs. Tried again tonight and still won't load, anyone else have this issue today?

I just installed Techline Connect on a new computer today and had similar problems too. I had to uninstall everything and start over. I finally got everything up and running a few minutes ago. I'm assuming your computer meets the minimum requirements?

Yes, it was fully functional on two of my PCs until today. Frustrating all the issues they have had, I am always so relieved when I show up on a job and it works.

I find it to be pretty reliable overall. I do run across some quirks from time to time and have to restart. My problem is getting to a job, opening up Techline Connect, and then having to wait for it to update. You'd think, by now, I'd check that before heading out to job 😒.

The last time I allowed that to happen I got trapped at a location for 3 hours on what should have been a 30 minute job. i will add my 2 cents. the techlilne 2 is a pain​.​like most of the replys, “SIT AND WAIT”!!! you never know how long your visit to the shop you were called out to for a program event. updates, updates, updates. restart restart and restart. very frustrating. and yes, my laptop exceeds their requirements. with the old system, i know i would be done within 20 minutes. just sayin.

Had this issue yesterday. Had to uninstall all the TLC related software. J2534 wrapper, TLC SUITE, and anything else that is from GM. Then reinstalled.

I was able to do a complete uninstall and got it back up and working on one computer. My main computer still a no go even after over an hour with tech support. The case got escalated so we will see. Keeps erroring out while trying to install/update GDS 2 Core.

If it's any consolation, I had to uninstall and reinstall TLC today as well :). Have you checked in add or remove programs on windows to see if the GDS 2 entry got uninstalled fully? If not, I'd recommend uninstalling and then trying to install from TLC again.

I did. Tech support also checked a bunch of other file locations before attempting reinstallation.
