Honda V-TEC / VCM Function and Diagnosis
Hello All,
Here is the latest installment of Diagnostic Network videos on the subject of Honda V-TEC. This same technology is also used for cylinder deactivation on the Honda Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) System. This system has been around for quite long time but I had never seen a good breakdown of how it worked. Thanks to Diagnostic Network for the high quality video work!

I do remember that another shop (Honda Specialist actually) asked me to look at it for a low power complaint. I found that the VTEC system was not functioning and I was trying to determine if it had something to do with incompatibility (frankenstein's Honda), a
Let me know...I’ve become quite intimate with the VTEC/VTC /VCM systems
