Another Gm tcl error post…
So tried to program tcm like I’ve done many times before but of course error messages accompanied by tcl. This time tcm programming states “not applicable”. Long story short ac delco said it was an error with tcl and needed remote access to my pc to download a file to access old system. I had already left the shop so will give it a shot on Monday.
Try being in Australis and deal with it (TLC). All emails take 2 days to get a reply if they do reply. Or you can ring internationally and be hanging on the line for hours. You would think they would get it working before they cut the old system off. Just saying.
AT least I still have the original SPS access until the 26th of this month. It still works as well as it always did. Just did a 6L80 TCM today, no issues. I am sure I will be singing a different song come the week after next!
How does that work…. And what's the significance of the 26th if I can ask?
Where to find this information? I spent a good amount of time last week looking while connected to one and came up empty thank you so much
Hi Bruce or Jeff, Are you saying that on a case by case basis they will migrate you to the "internal URL"...and that it expires?
As a GM Partner Perks member I have been able to continue to purchase the SPS annual subscription. On September 26th AC Delco/GM are “sunsetting” SPS. The Techline is what is replacing it, a few weeks ago I suddenly had two access points instead of one. SPS and Techline. I choose which I want to use when I login. Of course Techline is full of bugs and not really useable. I hope they get it…
The access is being terminated in a graduated ‘rollout’ across the GM world. I know a friend who is able to get access by going in through Global Connect, and he is unaffected by this crap. That said, I've had no issues with CAN modules, just the older J1850 boxes and low speed modules. I've already bricked several modules, as have several shops that have done it over just the last few…
Well I guess Tis 2000 remains an option for the pre-can stuff. We've gone to that where we can but we're still getting an awful lot of e4399 failures on can vehicles
There is always the old SPS TIS Disc system for 2006 and earlier. I keep a copy for that once in a blue moon occasion.
