FJDS Setup?
I have been using a windows 7 computer for FJDS until today. I was having a issue doing a PMI & configuring a SJB and know I am technically suppose to use windows 10 PC so I figured I would set up a window 10 computer and see if it would help my issue knowing if I call for assistance they probably would not help due to this.
I have a window size issue i cant seem to figure out? the words are on top of each other I cant enter my code?
this computer does also have GM GDS 2 and tech2win installed on it.
Bill, right click anywhere open on the desktop, a menu box should open at the bottom there's a display setting option and a customizable display option I believe that the setting is under the custom option to reduce icon and text sizing.
Not having any luck with that idea Craig. The issue only effects FJDS pop ups nothing else.
Select the scale and layout option and it should allow you to adjust the program display.
If you updated to Win10, you will need to reload FJDS to operate it. If you used another computer, the FJDS program is not recognizing it. Going from Win 7 to Win 10 is not simply an update. Win 10 is a whole new platform. Win 10 will overwrite any existing programs.
This is a completely different computer I did Not update the computer to win 10 from 7.
As Craig said go to you setting menu, select display and reduce you screen/ monitor resolution. See if that works for you
I agree with Craig. Click on the windows icon on the bottom left your task bar at the bottom of the screen your “Programs” list will appear. Just type the word text and you will see an option to make text bigger. Play with the settings “Make text bigger” and “Make everything bigger” I would think that one or the other setting may help you with your problem.
You need to go to setting and adjust your screen view size.
Bill, Hit us up tomorrow, one of my boys will quickly fix you up.
When a PC displays abnormally large font size the usually video drivers aren't loading properly for windows to set the optimal resolution/ DPI or you bought a use one that someone messed with the screen resolution. Check display resolution in settings, Example 1910x1080 etc and one should be labeled recommended. Then while in you browser window you can hit Control plus + or - to increase or…
On desktop, right click on FJDS icon, select Properties, select Compatibility Tab, Click on Change high DPI settings. after doing some reading you should be able to adjust the FJDS GUI display. You will encounter many problems if you keep using Windows 7, Use Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.
