Squealing Noise

2014 Chevrolet Cruze LT 1.4L 119k Miles

Squealing noise coming from left side of engine.

I've replaced the following.

1. Idler Pulley 2. Serpentine Belt 3. Spark Plugs 4. Camshaft Cover (Valve Covers)

Is the noise gone when you remove the belt?

See if the noise goes away if you remove the oil filler cap, if it does it is the crank seal. Was the valve cover PCV bad?

And he needs to follow the TSB to see if the intake manifold boost check valve is still there.

Yes agree.. Thats why I was asking if there was a issue with the valve cover or if it got replaced just because.

I'm pretty sure GM has a special policy on at least the valve covers. I refered a friend to our local gm dealer for the valve cover and they did the intake too at no charge.

Probably need to replace the valve cover again and this time the Intake manifold as well. Remove the oil cap whn its running to see if the noise goes away.

Check the front crank seal.

Most likely it is the front crankshaft seal , very common thing , someone mentioned already,

It ended up being the Crank Seal.. I've done probably almost 100 of these and never had to do one.. Thanks everyone!
