Techline connect user password
Hi this is the first time that I’ve try to program a GM using tech line connect versus TIS web. From the TDS page after logging in I go to add vin then it takes me directly to techline connect but I don’t have a username or password. I tried my TDS username and password but that does not work. any ideas? Thsnks
Go to acdelcotds first to purchase the subscription and then when you want to use that subscription it will send you to the prompt to open techline connect. Your username and password will follow along at that point to techline connect.
There isn't much if any support for pass thru with a tech2. You should have a mdi or mdi2 or j2534.
I was in the exact same boat as you yesterday, first time user also. Add vin and launch tech line through the browser. After that it auto installed updates and I was able to program, very similar to sps. There was no need to log in.
Here is the message I got from the help desk when I had the same problem… Hello, The following applies to the new system for the acdelcotds.com website. Please use Edge or Chrome. An update your account when vin is used. but launch it through the website an give it permission when trying to open it will login with your account when launching the software. Also I do use…
I did a video on using it for a used ecm a week or two ago. You can see how I go through it step by step. youtube.com/watch?v=dYbm4y…
Do you have the standalone link below password?
I hope this helps anyone that needs assistance getting Techline Connect setup. This is the initial setup procedure.
