Nissan Programming Using CONSULT-III plus R2R diagnostic software
It was my first time using Nissan's CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus) R2R diagnostic software yesterday. I have used NERS in the past. I had a weird issue where each time I went to add the one day CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus) R2R diagnostic software subscription to my cart, the website would redirect to the NERS page. Of course this made the whole process even more confusing as Nissan Tech Info website isn't the clearest on their programming to begin with. Their tech support was closed for the day and weekend so I kept trying different things. After clicking the 1-day subscription multiple times it finally added it to my cart.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Was it just a website glitch they were having?
I had high hopes that CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus) R2R diagnostic software would blow NERS away in functionality and ease of use but it doesn't, just cheaper to use.
Funny, yesterday was my first time using the R2R software as well. Was attempting to program tcm for a 14 pathfinder we just swapped a used transmission into. I didn’t have any issues with the Nissan website necessarily. Aside from the nearly 1.5 hours it seemed to take to get everything downloaded and setup on my laptop, I was unable to connect with the j2534 device so i basically just…
Dell Latitude and a Cardag Plus 3. So you need to pay the $30 one day fee and buy the $30 programming file. You then need to create a programming folder to put that file into. When you buy the programming file there will be a PDF included to show how to do that. similar to NERS. I also believe you can only use the Cardaq Plus 3 with R2R from what their site states.
Another side note, after I paid for and installed R2R, I opened it and connected to my Cardaq Plus 3 fairly easily from the R2R main screen. I was able to do this before buying the programming file just so you know.
Thanks for the help, guess it’s time to upgrade on my end!
Guy the R2R software will also work with Cardaq M and the new Nissan VI.
Thats right i forgot about the cardaq M. Do you need the mega can adaptor for that?
